My former employer's group insurance covered everyone regardless of diagnosis after 30 days of employment. The first 30 days was usually covered by a former employer's insurance plan for new employees.
Just got off the phone with a buddy who told me one's company-provided insurance can't ask medical questions and possibly disqualify you - only if you went directly to the insurance company for insurance. There might be exceptions, but for the last 2 YEARS I've thought wrong! Duh!
That probably depends. They can't turn you down if you've had continuous coverage. If you had a break in coverage then they can look for "pre-existing" conditions. I'm not sure when the changes for pre-existings with the health care law changes go into affect. (Or if they maybe already have).

Not sure, but the health law changes have already gone into effect I believe.
