Nice NYTimes article on chronic disease
Read this today and it resonated with me -- as I have only been part of the Wegs community for less than a year. Thought I would pass it along. "Five Things I Wish I'd Known Before My Chronic Illness" By Tessa Miller

Indeed, everyone does offer advice -- yoga, marijuana, walking (oh, that's painful), and even "stop taking all those meds". Excuse me? Stop taking all those meds? Sheeezee.... :-)

You shouldn’t be on multiple courses of steroids, even two courses
Saw the above on your tag line. I'm on steroids every day. They will probably be the major cause of my demise. Not to mention, I gain weight constantly.

I am not a moderator of this group, but I have to say something: This is a helpful forum for people to share their experiences with a chronic illness. Definitely not a platform for political commentary. Please keep that crap to yourself, regardless of what your views are.

Re: Nice NYTimes article on chronic disease
In regards to Prednisone - I was on 2.5 mg for 2 months. I started to wean further (with rhuemy's agreement) by mixing in 2 mg every other day or so (it was somewhat mathematical). Anyway ... after 1 month of that process, I realized today that what I thought were 2 mg pills were actually 1 mg pills ... This may explain why I didn't feel the best some days. So fight the tendency to be complacent like I did when things are going well.

I could give a crap what you have to say, I stated a fact, wasn't anything political about it.
Let's play nice guys! It has already been addressed, Tom, but thanks for chiming in. Let's drop this now and continue on.
