Ah! There u r! Oh how I missed u two yesterday,when I just couldn't stop posting! Today been real out of it,so spent most of the day trying to sleep. That's what I get for all the whoring from yesterday! Ha ha! So cold lately too. So I think I'm back to small print again! It's like presents,never know what I'm gonna get... I am still worried about you debra.. you wrote that you will love to try rtx... so give it a try. please ?
is it possible to take an ambulance from Nashua (is this your city? ) to Boston ?
at what hospital in Boston, friends around know that you will be able to get a decent treatment ?
what kind of doc are you going to meet on Dec 1 and will you survive until then ? (sorry)
do you have all the papers to show whatever doc you will meet ? a list of all the symptoms ?
is there anyone who can be your advocate in front of the docs ?
am I asking too much questions ?

Only here posting for a couple of days and already seeing Putin! Not good for me! Sorry u guys! I'm a bad influence! Alysia I am seeing primary care doctor. She is new to me from when all this went wild. My other doctor retired that same time when all symptoms where coming to surface. I will see what she has to say and what if anything transpires here. My other concern and there's many is getting help with the nausea and dizzyness. Also to renew a script for migrain med. Will let u all know what happens as I'm sure this also will be a non productive visit in terms of Wg treatment. I will not get my hopes up for rtx that's for sure,as I can't even get a cheep headache med to go through my nightmare insurance! Talked to nurse,so she wrote things down for the doctor,I hope! Birdie,u make me laugh! Maybe I will change avatar but hope u dont! Deb.

Don't worry too much about Putin, as there is usually more that one person involved in his appearance! I hope this new doc turns out to be more helpful than you think, knows something about WG, and is able to initiate some treatment for you. RTX might be great for you, but it takes awhile to get it approved and set up, it takes effort and help to get to the infusions, etc..... these are not reasons not to try to get it, but in your condition, some docs would likely suggest a "jump start" with CTX, either in infusion or pill form, because it is readily available, doesn't require approval, and works really well. Then you might be able to switch to RTX if that seemed like the better treatment. Or the two can be taken together for awhile. And you might not have to be on the CTX for very long. I think it's important that you get started on something soon without waiting around for approvals and scheduling. And you of course need prednisone, too. Although a good rheumatologist, a specialist, would be preferable, a good PCP has the ability to prescribe you meds to get you started and to continue in the absence of anyone more expert, and she can consult with experts. I know you have a sinking feeling that this appointment will go nowhere and have just about given up. But I sincerely hope it turns out to be just the opposite.

Anne,God bless u! God bless all u guys here... Such amazing people here.. and thanks for the heads up on Putin! Back in 2012, while a lurker I remember seeing him,and laughing. Thumbs up for the person who thought of that,very clever. I have my ammo ready for this appointment so we will see. I also had mary print three articles for me on Wg, hopefully this will help as I know she has never seen it. Oh how I wish I didn't have to be the one to introduce her to it! Maybe someone will benefit from all this though,in the future. Hopefully that future patient,if there is one will get treatment right away,with her help. Deb.
