Seems like I've asked something similar before.
We probably all drink our share of water having to down these meds/other medical reasons. Do you think these meds help retain this water? I find myself still pouting over this.

I think it depends on the specific meds.
I am on mtx, pred and lots of antibiotics lately. but I don't have water retention. and I don't gain weight. I drink a lot.
what meds are you taking ?

For me, I didn't think that it was the WG meds causing the water retention, but my blood pressure ones.......however, it is a common fact that prednisolone causes water retention.
I guess once you get down to lower doses, it gets better.

Don't have the Internet at home right now: I take pred, imuran and bp(x2).
Down to 5mg pred (3 mos) but it hasn't made a difference.
