Sorry you have to go up on the prednisone, but that is the only alternative right now. Thanks for the update!

Get wells soon Phil!!!
Aww Phil, I'm sorry to hear that. You must be feeling so lousy. I didn't realize you had a saddle nose. I hope the increased pred gets you feeling better and convinces the Wegs dog to take a nap. Hugs to you.
Thanks guys:
Saw the new lung doc today. Seemed quite nice. He wants to do a bronchoscopy on the 18th. So I will go back to Regina on the 17th and spend the night. He agrees that the Wegs could be smoldering away and causing unknown damage.
Sorry Phill, I so hope you get rid of all these nagging flareups of unusual wegeners side effects. Get better please
Jolanta
Thanks Jolanta,
I hope I get feeling better soon as well. I think the fatigue is a combo of a smoldering Wegs, the lung infection, and the antibiotics I am on.
Wishing PHil the best and a quick recovery! Firecracker thanks for posting and I sent you an e mail for Phil. You're the best
Lisa (coffeelover)
sorry to hear your not to good Phil , hope you get some answers soon and get on top of it all .
Diagnosed March 2001 ... WG Involvement - Ears . Sinus ( saddle nose) , eye ( blind Left )
currently on 5 mg Pred , Myfortex 6x360mg/d , Fosamax 70mg .
Had to go to ER this morning around 5 am. Was having severe chest, throat, ear, and head pains. To make a long story short the Pulmy said it was a reaction to the bronch I had on Friday. I was released at 2 pm.
