Wow Phil that's great to hear...not that Pneumoia is something to sneeze at but I am assuming your doc's say you will be up and running in a few weeks. Rest and come back refresh ready for Hockey season. Go Canucks!!!

I'm so glad they finally diagnosed it. Pneumonia can go wild very quickly. I hope the treatment works well-- and fast!

The doc has put me on Avelox (Moxifloxacin). I have been on it a few times before. The nurse said he would be up later to chat but has not shown up yet. I know he will be here in the morning for sure.

I was just getting overwhelmed a bit trying to keep up with FB and all the posts on here everyday. But I think that the Avelox will kick into high gear soon and I should feel significantly better in a week or 2. So then I should be back to my old self and should not have too much problem keeping up on the computer.

Oh yeah, I totally understand that. You take care of yourself, Phil. Keep us up to date so we don't worry, but get the rest you need.

Pneumonia is not exactly a cakewalk, but at least it is something you can fight on your own terms. Go get 'em, champ!
