I admire any Weggie who can get off it at all! Let us know how it goes. What dose were you taking today, your last day?

Well, congrats on getting down to 1mg.! If you are feeling good, I'd say that's a pretty good indication that your adrenals are functioning, not that I'm any expert, of course. Best of luck at being able to do without any pred, and if you did it in 2007 or before, you can do it now!

Thanks Anne. Most of us will become experts on here. I'm sure you are very close yourself.

Here, in this forum, I have found my sweet eternal love, my beautiful Phil.. :

"You are my sunshine", he used to sing to me... "you make me happy, when skies are grey" I still answer him.
Rest in Peace, my brave Batman and take care of your weggies from heaven, until we meet again.

    Perfect.

Phil, Alysia has just facilitated the world wide weggie dance
I was going to say world wide weggie wiggle, but with the pred weight, it's probably more of a wobble

I was actually fortunate not to gain much weight while on pred.

My lung doc called and my next dilation is Aug. 16th. He said it would not be a good idea to give me IV antibiotic like Clindamycin before the procedure. He said he will talk to me about that when he sees me. I wonder why that is not a good idea and I wonder what can be done to prevent these nasty infections after the procedures. Maybe there is no way around it.
