Boy, Phil you really got a plan here. I wish you all the luck with it. How are you feeling right now? Glad your report came back pretty good.
Dean and Barbara
I'm not too bad thanks. Just tired most of the time and get short of breath easily.
Phil Berggren, dx 2003
Dean know's how you feel about being tired. He feels that too. Other wise Dean is doing pretty good right now. We saw the doc this last week. He is letting us go down on Pred 1 MG a month. I do know how you feel about being short of breath. I have Asthma and COPD and most of the time I'm short breathed.
It is not fun to not breath good.
Barbara and Dean
I sure hope Dean can taper successfully on the pred. Glad to hear he is doing pretty good.

On Tuesday I had the second Avastin injection in the right eye. So far vision is still the same. If I had to rely on my right eye I would be considered blind.
Had the bronch on Thursday. Doc said things looked okay down there and also said if things go good then come back in 6 months for another bronch. He also dilated some small airways in the upper right lobe. I also got to look at the images inside me after. Kinda neat. I have seen many like it before online though, but when it's your own lungs you're looking at, it is really neat.
But since after the bronch I have been running a fever and sweating like a pig.
I hope I feel better soon.

Phil, make sure you call the doctor who did your bronchoscopy tonight. A fever and sweats may be a problem
Ya, I know.
But the trouble is his office is closed on the weekend. I do feel much better now though. But if I feel worse tomorrow I will at least go see my Wegs specialist.
Thanks Sangye.

It might just be the anaesthetic wearing off. If so, it shouldn't last much longer. Can you give your Wegs doc a quick call to make sure? Better than calling him in the middle of the night or on the weekend.
