Good call, Jack. Doxycycline can be rough on the body. I hope you'll still get a sputum sample just in case. Cultures take a few days to grow, and we've got the weekend coming up....

I'm glad you will be able to go to the garden. That is where my peaceful place was. Although I can't get down and dirty like I used to, I built tables and potted all my veggies and flowers so I could tend to them without bending or kneeling. Good luck with feeling better Jack.

Feeling a lot better now that I've stopped the antibiotics.
This seems to be a lesson that I keep learning over again - It is easy to overmedicate and it is easy for the side effects of new medication to be worse than the original problem! Don't just plough on blindly if it happens, stop and think what might be going wrong!
Sputum sample is on its way.
I'm happy to hear all of that, Jack. Very good advice to heed.
Hammy its you been silly BUT your right Jack could get some hot cross buns to eat in the garden ,saw then in two different stores today We could all go for a garden party in Jacks garden when they get his ramp sorted !!! DEEx
A party - I can't wait!!!!
Yes, it was all measured up and discussed, but there seems to be a communication problem when you are in a chair and they provide what they think is best for you. Somehow, I think that being an Engineer all my life puts me in a better position to specify a solution instead of the one chosen by the young girl who came out to the house, but what do I know?
