They both look so soft and lovely.
I regret your loss very much.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your pet, I think animals get Wegs.
They bring a lot of joy and love. Thinking of you, Col 23
That's great, Jack. I'm glad you're going to have some furry company.
I have to say this cracks me up. My son and his wife went thru the same exercise when they took on a rescue cat. Just for a moment when they were going thru the questions and answer forms I thought they were adopting 'real' children!! The lady checked out the address and questioned the proximity of a busy road, was there somewhere the car could stay in the warm during the day, how long would it be left alone etc. I thought it was all over after the cat was brought home but no, they phoned up to check how things were going, I almost put the cat on the phone to reply for itself!! Best of Luck Jack, try and find one that doesnt wail to Mr Cohen's music!
Our temple runs a dog rescue, and we do extensive interviews and home visits before authorizing an adoption. It's the mark of a quality rescue organization to do this, actually. It prevents the kinds of adoptions that too often lead to animal abuse or neglect, an animal being returned to the rescue (or worse, to a shelter that kills unadopted animals) or an animal having a life that is less than optimal. Many people adopt an animal on a lark or because it's a cute little puppy or kitten, but they don't have any idea what it takes to provide a great home for them. Some adoptions result in a perfectly fine animal becoming aggressive, neurotic or otherwise damaged. You wouldn't believe what can happen.
Sorry to hear about poor Bob, Jack. It is so hard to say goodbye to our furry friends and both Amber and Bobby were gorgeous bunnies.
Good news about the rescue cat, we have huge numbers of animas here that need a oving home - rescue centres do wonderfu work but just cannot cope at the moment.
I hope your new furry friend moves in rea soon.

(Sorry about the ack of (etter between K and M)'s in this post, I seem to have mispaced them at the moment.
We all went to the cat rescue place this afternoon and after long debate it looks like we will be having a new member of the family -

She may have a name change to Jennie.
Aww, she's really cute! Does her status refer to her adoption potential or her current mood?
Very sorry to hear about your fuzzy loss Jack - I know how much it hurts to lose a fuzzy friend and the hole it can leave behind.
I am very happy to see that a few lives will be enhanced with your new adoption however.
She is a fine looking specimen, and totally looks like a cool cat that will love chillin' to Cohen with you.
