yes, and they frequently send out emails once you are on the list.

Yep...no problems with them exposing/using our email to date.

It seems to be a very legitimate attempt at doing something good. The only issue I had was links in the emails didn't work, at first. They fixed it after one email to them. Unless they get hacked I doubt there is anything to worry about. And who wants to hack them? True, it's a statistitchion thing, but at least it's genuinely dedicated to helping humanity.
