I printed the info out, cut a piece of a cerealbox and scotch taped it all over to the back. Sits fine in my wallet.

I get to do the same thing for the big JHU day Wed.. I have three more new meds to add to the list as of today. Trying the diartic and betablocker and more antibiotics for infected foot.

Hi there. I am now on my 4th week with very swollen and red foot. 1 half set of antibiotics did nothing so they put me on IV every morning. 6th day a young doc said that if it doesn't get better or worse, it is not an infection. He prescribe antibiotics again, but I decided to see what would happen without. Goes up and down, both swelling and pain. And red of course. Seeing my trusted gp tomorrow, but wish we had some WG specialist here in Vancouver, Canada. Please tell me about yours after JHU.

I will. I saw the prim doc today. There is no punture mark but vagly remember stepping on something but thought it was the right foot not the left. Weriod spot too. Right at the end of the heel but at the begining of the arch on the bottom of my left foot. it is sore and swells throught the day. I have to use it so big it gets and red and warm but only later in the day after use. wore flip flops all weekend shoes hurt. Wasnt yours a hang nail to begin with ??

Sorry about that Onatreetop and Moyan! I wish you had aWG specialist in Vancouver, Canada. Can you fly to US for a WG specialist one time to see if your on the right track?
-
Moyan, have you consulted any other specialists about your foot?
-
Oh Moyan! I have to be honest, I am scared for you. Please be persistant with your doctors and insist that they consult with one or more of the WG specialists from the VF with you in the same room at the same time on speaker phone. There has to be some Rheumy or other specialist somewhat familiar with WG in the Vancouver area. Please be persistant and get answers soon.

Thank you Elephant, Sangye and Phil. I have only seen the doc at the clinic, who has a friend with WG. 2 docs at hospital, of which the younger one said if it is not getting better, nor worse with this IV antibiotics , it's not an infection. Also saw the lungdoc, WG "specialist", who had no comments, but did send me to a specialist on infections for Mon. Seeing my trusted GP since 20 years today and I know he will do what he can for me.
Personally, despite I have never had a remission, I think WG is sticking up it's head again and biting. Cooking has always been my big hobby, but too "lazy" to even think of any delicious meal these days. Also somewhat down, tears come easy. But soon tulips and daffs will be showing and life will brighten up.

I'm so sorry Moyan. It can get so over whelming with trying to track a good doctor especially a WG specialist. Just take it one day at a time. Find a day this week where you just focus on finding that WG specialist. Even if it is far away, that way you met the WG specialist and that person knows you and has done a history/physical/labs...ect. See if your GP or WG pulm can hook up with the WG specialist and call/email and ask questions if something comes up. Like Phil stated you can use speaker phone with a specialist if possible. I am here if you need me.

Thank you, just having a bad period of time. Concentrating on a solution is the best advice I have gotten in a long time!
I think your appointment is tomorrow and I wish you get all your questions answered.
