That's how Banner Hospital handled wife's hip replacement rehab. She got her 1-1 time with the surgeon appropriately, but rehab was done altogether for about 2 hours a day including knees & hips. A bit weird at first, but very efficiently run by a managing NP & her elves.
I think the 1-1 time is critically important as some people are reluctant to ask questions or admit to not understanding what they've been told in a group setting.
