It does not matter how slowly you go, as long as you do not stop!

Happy New Year to everyone, and may we all strive, day by day, to make 2014 the best year ever, for our health and everything else important in our lives! Everyone on here deserves a really good year.

Have a fantastic New Year everyone - wherever you may be.
Waking up in 2014 in Australia has, so far, been non eventful. I hope you all find better health and peace this year.

It just turned 12:05, it's 2014, and I'm watching the fireworks display at the Space Needle on TV.... whoop-de-doo! I could sure do without the music they are playing to go with it. Oh, well, whatever. It's a foggy night in Seattle, which gives the fireworks a more ethereal effect. Oh, some of that music was Pearl Jam... I guess I'm supposed to like them.... OK. And there is something going on at Chihuly's Garden of Glass. I had a cranberry/pomegranate/vodka drink, which has long since worn off, and ate a pint of peanut butter/chocolate chunk ice cream. There are probably fireworks going off outside but I can't hear them. Now they are doing stupid stuff on TV so I'm turning it off! I watched a sappy movie earlier on. So that was my New Year's Eve. There you have it. Tomorrow I'll drive to my sister's house and we'll exchange late Christmas gifts and such for a couple of hours. Then back home to get on with my life! I like the sound of 2014 better than last year's number. Let's all make it a good one! Best wishes to all for more peace, health, wealth, and happiness.

Must be getting old(er). Had an early dinner with best friends, came home to watch the Ohio State - Purdue basketball game that we recorded. Fell asleep during second half. Woke up at 11:50 to snarky comments by commentators on all three networks. Saw the ball drop at Times Square. In bed at 12:05.
Happy New Year to all. I hope the coming year will yield some insights about what causes our dumb disease. I also hope for less toxic treatments! All the best to my Forum Friends!

Me too ladies, Babysat my sons dog who is terrified of the fireworks. And fun times were had by all.

Pete, at least you woke up in time to see the ball drop! I fully expected to sleep right through New Years, which has happened before and would have been fine.
New insights into our disease and all other AI diseases would make an awesome 2014! My dad was a cancer researcher... if he had known I'd get Wegs, I imagine he would have veered off in another direction!
