    Default Drugs

I was diagnosed in February this year, was on the Cyclophosphamide and moved to Imuran 50mg daily two weeks ago also taking, Prednisolon 7and 1/2 daily, Amlodipine 50mg daily, Co-trimoxzol 500mg every 2nd day, Alendoninezuur 70mg once a week, and Pantoprozal before the Prednisolon.
My question, and my specialist is on holiday so before I even attempt this I shall ask him.
What would happen if I stopped taking these drugs? they are upsetting my sleep, stomach, headaches, muscles etc.
Specialist is pleased with the remission and the drugs have been reducted dramatically since being diagnosed.

If you are having trouble with current meds you need to report it to prescribing doctor who will usually adjust dosages, change meds or urge you to stay the course for awhile and see if your body adjusts to the meds. Stopping all the meds you list above at once would be rather dangerous and bad choice in my opinion. Most doctors have some one covering for them when gone so you still should be able to get some advice if you contact their office.
