I would not hear a thing if it was not for the implants.

With out my hearing aids my world is very silent too. With them I am able to enjoy most music somewhat if the musician and sound system is good. I can often reach a deep state of relaxation with good music. Bad music and sound seems more irritating, probably because the hearing aids magnify the errors. And some times certain frequencies are almost painful and very upsetting if there is squealing feedback noise.
