    Kathy, I came across on you tube a woman from the SS Administration who used to work in the disability section. She spoke about what SSI looks for and how to make an appeal. VF SYMPOSIUM 2010 Volume 17 - Disability and Workplace Issues on You Tube

    I recall someone posted a page from the S.S. saying what it deams disabled and we fit right into it. I know it's in the arcives (sp)I'll see if I can't find it .All you would have to do is print it out. I used to work the disability lawyers so I did mine myself. You have 30 days to appeal the decision but if you can get your dr. to write saying you can't work for at least a year they should give it to you. Go straight to the ss office and do it yourself. Mine was approved in 3 months.I'll look back at the previous forums on this cuz that one article was good.
