Psyborg, I'm so relieved that you saw her. It's natural to worry that it isn't really Wegs. I have a very well-confirmed case and I still find myself wondering "What if it's all been a mistake?"

I hope you only have to do imuran, but Dr Villa-Forte will know exactly what you need.

My paranoia stems from the fact that the CT Scan showed thickening of the trachea, but that doesn't necessarily mean stenosis. Now my cough and shortness of breath would seem to be pretty conclusive that the airway is shrinking, but the CT Scan showed nothing, and I have this nagging fear that it'll come in all fine on the scope. Like I said...paranoid

I have WG but last admission they scoped throat thinking a flareup was causing stenosis or other problems in my throat. They concluded it was GERD acting up from Cytoxan meds and increased my Protonix which helped reduce symptoms and changes on voice from irritation of vocal cords. So I guess you can have WG and still have something else causing those symptoms.

Hi Pysborg, welcome to the group, I had my gall bladder out july 2009 and 3 weeks later was in hospital being diagnosed with WG, which presented itself as sinus and weight loss and apparently I had wg for a couple months previous to that, so whether it is related I am not sure. I sure hope things get better for you.

Hi Deanne I had my Gallbladder out March 2010, did you have gallstones? Mine was a sluggish gallbladder and had pain in my right lower lobe ( lung).
