    I have seen a specialist several times about my hemorrhoid problem and he says that I am not a suitable candidate for surgery due to the high risk from infection. However, he has banded several of the troublesome ones and this has worked for a while. I just treat myself very gently now and often use a shower or bidet rather than wipe. The creams and suppositories did not seem to be that effective.
    The only time they have given me real problems was when I had a thrombosis problem with them - very painful and I could not sit down! Not funny at all.

    Holy crap Phil! There must be something in the Western Canadian drinking water.....

    My wife (Alberta) discovered she had a half sister (Manitoba) about 10 years ago and our families have become very close since that time.

    In fact her husband has become one of my best friends and we've planned an annual fishing trip ever since.

    It is a shock for sure! Social Services contacted my Mom last week and said her children would like to meet her.

    CONGRATS PHIL...Extended families can always be exciting .....hope it all works out well....i have a very extended and blended family ...some good ...some bad ...but family all the same
