There is no swelling or bruising so nothing much to be done in that direction. The doc just said that there were no breaks and considering all the other medication I take, she did not propose adding to the list. I said, "Fine, I'll just wait till it gets better then ".
So now I'm just gently practising standing up again. I did try to take a few steps using crutches, but that was a mistake and I nearly had an accident!

My mother used to say, after taking a tumble, "I'm OK! I know how to fall!" Which gave the family great comfort. Not! I'm glad you succombed to nagging, at any rate, Jack, because that vacation in the West sounds too good to give up for something like recovery.
slow and steady Jack take care DEEx
I have to push myself a little, the trick is not to overdo it and I do have difficulty knowing where to draw the line, that's how I ended up hurting myself again. It would be so easy to get used to using the wheel chair - so much easier and less painful than walking with crutches. I really want to stop using it as soon as possible.
just alittle then !!!!! DEEx
I really don't know what is happening to me these days. I think I'm going to wrap myself in cotton wool and stay in bed!
My rabbit, Bobby has just kicked me and caught the back of my hand with his claws. Due to my paper thin skin, this has torn back a flap about 2" long. Ouch!
I've cleaned and bandaged it, but it is a bit of a mess and I just know it is going to take ages to heal.
Naughty Bobby! Sheesh, Jack that's all you need! It sounds like it'll make it hard to use crutches, too.
Do you need stitches? You might also need antibiotics since I doubt Bobby's nails were sterile....
Aloe will help it heal, as will a little more vitamin C.
Oh dear Jack i dont know cottonwool would be enough please take care of u DEEx
