Jennie has now moved in and seems to be a very friendly cat with lots of licking and purring. She has only been with us for a few hours, but things are looking good for her settling in well.

Jack, she is so cute and looks just like my rip cat Coalie. He lived to a ripe old age of 20.

Thanks for all the comments, Jaden is very flattered, but not at all surprised.
Yes, Jaden, became Jennie for a while, but now seems to have reverted back to Jaden again. I suppose that is the best way for a name to be chosen.

LOL That happened when I adopted my dog Patch. His foster mom had named him. I thought it sounded like a kindergarten named him, and I told her I'd be changing it. I didn't mean to hurt her. I truly thought she just named him that casually, knowing it would change. She looked crestfallen and said, "But he likes it." For about a week I kept trying on other names but nothing would stick. I finally had to concede that Patch was truly his name. She was thrilled when I told her.
When I adopted my dog Lotus from the shelter, she had the name Oreo. I was like "NO WAY." It didn't fit her at all. The name Lotus was perfect. Lotus Blossoms, actually.

Lol, for 2 days after my oldest son was born I couldn't decide on the name, I had Robert and Alexander and just could not pick. But after those 2 days it was so clear that he was Robert.
