Default Genetic survey for rare diseases.

The DNA test site, 23 and me, has many health questionnaires that people can fill out to help people learn about what traits may have a genetic basis and which predispositions they might have. I just filled one out on rare diseases and GPA was one of those listed on the drop down list. I know the large GPA study by Mayo and other centers is also looking for genetic links for treatment, prognosis, etc.

Has anyone else done such surveys? How many members here have participated in any research studies on GPA and its treatment?

Happy Fourth of July for those who celebrate it today!

If you are on the Vasculitis Foundation's mailing list, you are probably receiving periodic requests to update their survey. I've completed those.

(Speaking of the VF, they publish a little book on the basics of GPA and MPA. It's very useful for the newly diagnosed, and for their family and friends. They will mail free copies if you request it by email.)
