Well, good memory, but it was a blackberry avatar. I still have it at the top of my Facebook timeline. These aren't just any blackberries, but a kind native to this area which have a lower, trailing growth pattern as opposed to the big sprawling "Himalayan" variety that grows all over the US, as far as I know. I have both on my property. The native blackberries have a more distinctive flavor and are considered superior by most here. I don't think blueberries are native here, but two types of huckleberries are, which grow mainly in the wild, but some of which are used to flavor some brands of ice cream. Huckleberries look similar to blueberries, but are smaller, and it seems likely that blueberries were hybridized from them. They are native elsewhere in the US, too, I believe, hence, Huckleberry Finn.

Thanks, Natty! It wasn't bad, though it was a work day. Did something with my sister the day before, a Sunday.

Happy Birthday @Pete and @gilders. Do you both have birthdays on the same day ?
Pete, I hope you and your wife are doing better and that you have a great pain free and flare free day
Gilders, I hope that your kidney behaves well and allows you to celebrate your first birthday with it
