    Default Albumin

    Hi,

Tracey is finished with her Chemo. Her blood count is fine and her anka is 100, a little higher than the last test. She usually stays around 75 -80 when she is in remission.

They were talking about her Albumin levels being very low.

Does anyone have any information on this in regard to WG

    Regards,

    Traceys Dad

Low levels of albumin can mean- malnutrition, problems with kidney and liver. Those are the main. Usually the doctor would order multiple lab test to see what the problem is ( liver, kidney malnutrition). Being on these toxic drugs and having WG can cause many side effects and increase our liver enzymes.

Sorry I don't know what her total blood protein is.

Today her WG doctor has ordered another round of Chemo (#6) She is feeling very well and back to work.

    Cheers,

    Mike (Tracey's dad)
