I was wondering if anyone knew how long the ANCA test takes. It usually seems to vary to how long my GP gets the results back - 8 to 14 days.

The ANCA test take about a couple of weeks.

As I understand it, the test itself does not take that long. It is just that most labs do not do it so the samples often have to be sent away.

I've always gotten my results in about 4 days. Like Jack said, longer means they have to send it out.

They always have to send the ANCA out. Sometimes I wonder where? Antarctica? Greenland?

Sangye, like Phil said you are witty, brilliant and my add on is Clever. Don't worry your head will shrink a little next month, you will be on lower dose of Prednisone.

Seriously hoping for some major head shrinkage. My winter cap is too tight!

My Anca tests take 4-5 days and I know they send mine out ,,,where I don't know

My doc gets the results in 3 -4 days, I get mine sent to me nd that can take 7 to 14 days
