Default Six years ago today, 9/02/2010, diagnosed and treated for Wegener's Granulomatosis

It has been a roller coaster ride, these last 6 yrs., but I'm still rolling along. I am so blessed to have found this forum within a month of being diagnosed. I really can't believe I have been coming here to read,to lean on,to learn from, to laugh with, to whine to,to ask questions to, to comfort, to wish all the best to, to cry with, and to morn with.
It took me 5yrs to obtain remission and to stop trying to guess what I would be hit with next. I know I can always come here with a concern and it is responded to, what a relief that is. We all have our own stories to share and I really appreciate each and everyone.
Thanks to all of you wonderful souls, that gather here to help each other thru our journeys!
    Jana

"You are my sunshine", he used to sing to me... "you make me happy, when skies are grey" I still answer him.
Rest in Peace, my brave Batman and take care of your weggies from heaven, until we meet again.

It was about six years ago to that I left the nursing home to try a more independent living situation after being six months in the hospitals and nursing homes where i worked on more rehab.. Yes things are certainly much better now for me than they were back then. The best news is that we are still here to enjoy our new life with Wegs.

I've just passed the 6 year hurdle as well on 16th August. Here's to the next 6 years
