Does she see a rheumatologist at the Cleveland Clinic? When did she get off the Prednisone? Is she on any medicine for the WG? Is the foot swollen, red, tender? Sorry for all the questions. There are other people on this forum who had foot pain too. Hope your wife is doing great.

I go to Cleveland Clinic and highly recommend it. Need to see a top notch Rheumatologist who really knows WG. Some of the medicines that your on can cause swelling of the feet. Need to keep your feet above your heart when your sitting. Other medical conditions can cause swollen foot ( heart, arteries, lung and kidney ). I would call your doctor and tell them about the swollen feet. Creatine of 1.4 is not bad. Any shortness of breath?

She should definitely get to Cleveland Clinic. Even if you have to drive a few hours to get there, you need a Wegs specialist. Please don't wait to get the ball rolling.

Why is she on coumadin? History of clots? Does her rheumy know Wegs make you 24% more likely to have clots? I've had a ton of clots (both legs and lungs packed with them) and my feet fill up with fluid after sitting in a chair for 10 minutes. My shoe size has increased in the same way, and I can only wear tennis shoes.
