    Default Want my remission back!

My two-year affair with remission is officially on hold. Thankfully I've already been OK'd for a new round of Rituxan, and am hopeful that my remission will see fit to return soon. Was nice to pretend at least for a while that I'd defeated this demon Nazi disease....

Sounds like you're on your way back to remission -- assuming our dumb disease doesn't surprise you...

Four weeks ago I mowed our entire yard (3/4 acre of ups and downs!) with a push mower; yesterday I did well to get a load of laundry done.

Aaaaaah, finally someone who truly understands my world. Sorry it's true for you but at least I know I'm not alone. Laundry and yard mowing are my measures of condition. I've mowed my lawn five times since March and it's only 30' x 18'. Laundry is something I have to schedule, plan, rest and continue doing, then recuperate for hours after folding. Three loads takes the entire day.

My fatigue may not be quite as bad, but I can certainly relate. This morning, having slept well and long enough, I spent a couple hours writing something important on the computer. Editing something I'd started a couple of weeks ago. On and on, working with words. No physical labor involved. It wore me out, and I had to take a nap! Later this afternoon, I was stacking some firewood outside. Had to throw the wood pieces over to where I wanted them, then had to sit down part of the time I was stacking. Slow going. And neither of these projects is finished yet.

I will cross everything that I can that you get your remission back!!!!!
I also measure how I am doing by how much I can get done ... and then usually regret doing anything. isn't that how it always works?

Me, too, Treesie, hoping you go smoothy back into remission after the RTX! Forgot to say that, too busy talking about myself.

And so true about doing things, feeling great about it, and then regretting it later!
