    Default Good news...

Hello everybody. I have some good news to share. All went well with my treatment for breastcancer. The X-rays that have been made show no signs of recurrence.
It's been a year since i was diagnosed with breastcancer, and five years since I was diagnosed with Wegeners.
The WG/GPA is still in a (medicinefree) remission, I hope it stays this way.
Hope you're all doing all right too. Will soon be back to read the latest threads.

I'm still feeling good. Yesterday I got a message from the forum because it was my birthday.
So I thought I should log in again to see how you are all doing.
My Wegs is still in remission, I haven't had a major flare for years.
I am still on medication to minimize my breastcancer-recurrence risk (anti-hormonal treatment, just one pill a day).
My doctors are pleased to see that my treatment so far went so well.
I sometimes haves minimal Wegs-symptoms. A few minor nosebleeds, some fatigue.
But that is easy to treat myself, with nose-rinses and so on.
    Wishing you all the best!

It certainly was! I got nice presents, flowers, lots of postcards, whatsapp-messages, phonecalls en visits.
At the end of the day we (my husband, my daugther and her friend and I) went out for a very nice dinner.
Later this year we hope to organize a somewhat bigger party with friends and family, if all continues to go so well.
    I sure hope so!
