Good day.

I’m Ed Becker, Media Producer with the Vasculitis Foundation. For the past three years I’ve worked with the VF on a special project called, Extraordinary Vasculitis Stories.

These are short videos featuring vasculitis patients talking about their experience of living with vasculitis. To date, we have nearly 150 patient stories on the VF’s YouTube Awareness Channel. The videos have been watched by more than 14,000 viewers from all over the world.

Other patients, rheumatologists, and vasculitis researchers have all viewed these videos to better understand the illness from a patient’s point-of-view.

What exactly takes place during a videotaping of Extraordinary Vasculitis Stories? Watch this short behind-the-scenes video of the Q&A session.

Patients tell us they love sharing their story on video because it ultimately helps others gain a better understanding about the disease. Once uploaded, you will get a link to your video and you can share it with your network of family, friends, co-workers. You can also get your video on DVD at a later date.

It only takes 15 minutes to record the video. You will receive all of the questions that will be asked during the session before the day of filming. The video is professionally shot and edited. Everyone comes off looking like a pro in our videos!
If you have previously filmed your story, why not do another one to update everyone on how you’re doing today.

If you’re interested in filming your vasculitis story please contact me and we will find the best time slot for you. We will be videotaping all day on Friday (6.19), Saturday (6.20), and half day on Sunday (6.21).

Thank you,
Ed Becker
