Welcome, Lisa, and we hope to hear more about you, though your privacy will be respected if you choose not to share all your personal info. I hope you don't have WG, or anything else as serious, but if you do, this forum will be a great help to you as it has been to me for the 4 years since my diagnosis. You and Blake (mrmteo) are a bit over my head with some of your terminology, but I do know that my ANCA was only barely positive at dx and some people's are negative even though they have active disease. Other than that, I don't know what my numbers were at dx, or what all tests were done, but I do know that I haven't gotten a lot of the tests others have. I'm doing quite well, despite not seeing real WG specialists. It's good that you are, though, as that is the way to go if it's at all possible. I mainly want to welcome you, and you will know when you are ready for the Introductions forum. Best wishes!

For some people the tests are a helpful indicator. For a few the tests are completely useless. Symptoms are never to be ignored because of test results.
In my case I have always tested negative and gave up even doing these tests as they were not helpful in guiding my treatment.
My diagnosis happened before the test was in use.
The tests are just some of the tools in the diagnosis and treatment guidance tool box.

I haven't had this happen, but have noticed some other glitches, such as being notified of posts but then not being able to access them. You can always send Andrew a Private Message, too; he might get it faster that way.
