What an amazing challenge you are doing to raise awareness.
Love the video and are looking forward to seeing you crosssing the finish line

The VASCULITIS: Racing for Life t-shirts are in and they look great! Daggar made the graphic
You can get one (and other stuff) by supporting the production of the rare disease awareness documentary. Follow link to the film trailer, there are more pictures in the photo gallery. Racing for Life | Indiegogo

I think that is a fantastic story of courage and very inspirational. I felt a similar drive with my riding. I didn't want to take any medication that would prevent me from riding. I was blind for one year and luckily had a partial transplant from a donor but am slowly losing vision again plus my hearing is basically gone, if I don't see your face I can't hear you so I don't hear things like the phone or dogs and cars etc. Your story has made me even more determined to fight this thing and enjoy life to the fullest every day. Thank you for your story.

I must have seen 20 ophthalmologists that told me I had dry eye syndrome when I couldn't even open my eyes because they were glued together. They just had never seen it before and didn't want to deal with it. Hope everything turned out alright.

Barbara - Great to hear!
I have not posted for a while off-the-grid in Alaska. I ran 630 miles of the 1000-mile Alaksan Iditarod Sled Dog Race - I would have gone further BUT I broke my pelvis 20 miles out form the start line. I continued on for 10 days and another 610 miles but I finally withdraw from the race. And although I did not complete the race, the story has generated lots of media attention. If you would like to see pictures and stories you can go to my Facebook page (It is public).
