I found out I have Wegener’s back in December of 2000,I just found this forum a couple weeks ago while doing some research. I’ve wrote up my story that I’ll post in theWeggie’s stories section here shortly.
I hope that our stories will be able to help someone else have a successful remission and recovery.

Thanks for the Welcome's. I wish I would have been able to find a forum like this when I got diagnosed. I hope our stories will help newcomers to this realize that it can work out ok with treatment.

So you found out you had WG in 2000. I'm surprised with the usually mis-diagnosis Drs seem to make before realising it's Wegeners, they didn't initially diagnose you with the Millennium Bug!

Add my welcome to everyone else's! I, too, am sorry you had to do without this forum all that time. I'm not sure when the forum started.
But it is absolutely the best thing I ever could have imagined. Luckily, I found it right after a doctor in a hospital suggested I could have WG based on a lung CT scan. I was sent home and promptly got on the internet and found it, and was diagnosed by a nasal biopsy within a week and a half or so. I'm glad you have joined us, and I look forward now to reading your story!
