Ok Michelle, just been into town to thrash out the final bits and bobs only to find that all the seat reservations from 3 months ago have been "wiped out"!!

No drama but a bit of a heart stopper to be sure. We are staying at the Mercure Melbourne Treasury Gardens hotel from the 26th to the 29th October with the Great Ocean Road day booked for the 28th.

Anyone who wants to meet up for a chilled glass of white or even a coffee will be gratefully received!!

We are also trying to track down my Grandparenst movements back in the early 1900's when they stepped off the boat from the UK, and also where my Dad was born, yes I am part Aussie, there I have bared my soul!!

Should be a very interesting and very busy time and thoroughly looking forward to it.

That's just up the road from where I work Geoff.

We have a little impromptu cuppa meeting this Tuesday so I will see who is in for October.
I'm sure Timbo will be.
Just have to try and get the Chief Kahuna to take a trip down to Melbourne.

I have been doing Ancestry tracking for many years. Trev (my husband) father came from the UK - Lincolnshire. We will have to get over there one day to track his side down.
