    Question Waxing??

    Hi all,
I had heard that if you are on chemo you CANNOT get "waxed" (eyebrows, legs...) because your skin is too sensitive. I don't see my Dr. for another month and don't want to call and bother him with something like this, so I was hoping someone had some experience with waxing??
    Thanks!
    Deb H.

Lip waxing was too stressful for my skin and I get herpe breakouts from them. Good luck with whatever you decide!!
I am a strong person, but every now and then I also need someone to take my hand & say everything will be alright....

Deb,I get my eyebrows waxed, but I'm only on pred. but I am pretty sure I did it when I was on ctx ? Your skin thins out so I guess you need to be careful.

I get free waxings in the hospital when they change my dressings.

lol.... I didn't see this post when my sweetie wrote it.... according to the date it was after 3 days in the hospital and yes, they did hurt him when they changed the dressings... but he was hero enough not to complain and to make jokes of it. I have some pictures of him while they change the dressing. but might be to tough to post them.... I might post them on his thread, not sure.....

"You are my sunshine", he used to sing to me... "you make me happy, when skies are grey" I still answer him.
Rest in Peace, my brave Batman and take care of your weggies from heaven, until we meet again.

I got a good chuckle from Phil's post. He's still giving us laughs.
