2015 Vasculitis Symposium

The Vasculitis Foundation is excited to announce that the 2015 International Vasculitis Symposium will be held June 19-21, 2015, in Jacksonville, Florida!

Mark your calendars now, as more information will be posted in the coming months. Registration will open in early Fall!

I went to the symposium last year in Philadelphia and will definitely try to go to this one as well. You get a wealth of information as well as support from fellow WG patients. Got the info from facebook page of vasculitis foundation.

They should have in Denver, SLC, or Seattle some year. I know they have had it in Mayo, Rochester a couple times or more.

Yeah, Seattle! I agree, they should have these things in the West sometimes; it's not like no one out here has vasculitis!

So nice that these kind of events are organized. Noticed there would be a Vasculitis Workshop in London this spring too, but couldn't find any more info about that one; 17th International ANCA and Vasculitis Workshop 2015

I plan on attending. I was able to attend the symposium in Philadelphia in 2013 an it was well worth it. I learned a great deal and that is how I found my current DR.

Do you know where you will be staying? I'm not at all familiar with Jacksonville.

They offer a discount at the hotel where the symposium is happening. They did not name the hotel yet. It is convenient to be at the hotel where the event is taking place. Last time it started on Friday around noon and ended up Sunday morning around noon. There are several main sessions then they have break out session to choose from. I heard it was going to be in Florida next year, glad it has been confirmed! While it'll be nice to go back home, it was nice to go to another city I've never been to before and sight-see with new friends. I plan on attending the symposium again... look forward to meeting everyone who goes!

Here is the most recent information I have. Symposium dates are 6/19/14-6/21/14. Will be at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel in Jacksonville FL. Group room rate is $135 per night plus tax & fees ($20 per night parking). Fee to register is $199 per person and includes 2 lunch meals and 2 continental breakfast. Dinner on your own both nights.
