On mycophenolate and while it is keeping things at bay, I would like to get off this medicine. Not sure of this is possible. Is anyone else taking this?

Hi Eamick I've been on 2 grams a day of mycophenolate for 7 years now.it's certainly been beneficial for me but as for getting off it I don't know.your immune system would have to return to normal before that could happen.john.

Just looked it up, Deb, it is Cellcept, which we have heard of on here, another immunosuppressant, commonly used to prevent rejection of transplanted organs. I guess some Weggies use it if they have problems with the other meds....?
