Need Clearview, FL, area doctors who can diagnose and treat wg

I have met someone on a Facebook forum from Clearview, FL, who needs a doc who
can diagnose and treat wg. Her current doctors are relying on anca level and taking a wait and see if it is wg. No biopsy done, has hole in nose, kidney issues, arthritis. Anyone know a specialist in her proximity?

Closest I know of would be Jacksonville Mayo...they have a vasculitis interest there. There may be others, some one will chime in soon if there are. Best to your friend...they need more than the doc is supplying...like right now! ANCA is not a fierce determiner of WG...docs are reading from books...

I live in the Orlando area, but can find no Clearview, Fl. Is that perhaps the name of a development she lives in?

That's in the panhandle. There is a member on here that is from that area that may be able to share more info. Perhaps it's the same person??? The best place is of course Mayo which is in Jacksonville. It's worth the trip however to get the first class, knowledgeable treatment that we need.

I'd offer the name of my rheumy, but since she's leaving the med group in Destin, I'll be searching for another. Most likely in Pensacola. Crestview is just 18 miles up the road from me.
