In Edmonton there is Elaine Yacyshyn (Rheumatologist). From what I hear from other patients she is very good. She is very kind and compassionate as well as knowledgeable about Vasculitis.

There are other Rheumatologists that are listed with the University of Alberta in Edmonton. I don't know about the others listed but I would bet any one of them would know Wegs fairly good as well.

    Here is a link.......

Dr. Joanne Homik is also listed with the Canvasc site. Here is link for there as well. It shows docs in Edmonton.

And here is the link for Calgary docs with the Canvasc site......

I know that there are some good Wegs docs at Foothills as well. I heard of a Dr. Penny that is good. And also all the docs in my Interventional Pulmonary Program at Foothills knows Wegs as well as far as the lungs go. Dr. Alain Tremblay is the head dude there, very nice guy. And Paul MacEachern and Alex Chee are also in this program.

    I hope this helps.
