Hi All,
Sorry for the delay in replying, not been on my laptop for a few days. Been busy cake decorating & attending a 3 year olds party, lol.
Thanks for all the welcomes.
Michelle - I was told (via having it written down) that at the time of my diagnosis the relevant blood test wasn't done in the UK. I'm assuming it is now.
Geoff - Hi, yeah, pretty much travelled it alone apart from my family who were/are very supportive (even brought me in take aways nearly every night whilst I was in hospital) & I've seen the same consultant the whole time. During the early years, I was also seen regularly by an ENT specialist, but was discharged from his care a few years ago now. Thanks for the invite to the meet up, but due to my sciatica, I'm not up to travelling very far. I have family that live in Essex (Clacton), so maybe when I'm next at theirs, I'll see if your group are doing anything.
Debra - Hey, my main involvement was my ears, then my sinuses. I had a small cavity in one of my lungs at the time of diagnosis, but no major problems with my lings or kidneys. I was told they caught the WG in time, another few months & my whole story could've been a lot different.
Chat to you all soon.

Hi AC2,
Sunny Clacton is not far from me, I live East of Maldon on the Blackwater. If you are going by we could meet on neutral territory if that appeals!
Keep in touch and all the very best.
