    Hi David,
in Israel we have it in 3 tastes. I like it. I am proud to present the link to our tea company
Wissotzky Tea, Red Tea Rooibos Infusion

since I have colon involvement too, and suffer stomach pains I can tell that the rooibos does help me.

I have used it, thought it had a pleasant taste, and then sort of forgot about it. So next time I'm buying tea, will look for it again. David, are you drinking it, and are you thinking of it as possibly beneficial for us Weggies?

Well, it helps with your colon and stomach issues, so that is good! And I just found some benefits listed here: Rooibos - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I didn't see anything about it stimulating the immune system, which could be a problem if it did.

Here, it kind of gets lost in the shuffle in a large tea display. It would be with the herbals and might be called Red Tea. In a small tea display, here, it might well not be there at all. I think Celestial Seasonings (a prominent herbal tea company in the US) makes a version of it, but I'm not sure. I hope you have it in Oz so you can try it. I'm always looking for herbal teas I don't need to sweeten and this may be one, although I don't remember. Some herbals give me a scratchy throat with no sweetener.

I like vanilla rooibos tea, made by Tazo. It has many health benefits, but I just read it boosts the immune system: Health Benefits of Red Rooibos Tea | Organic Facts

I don't drink it regularly, but if you do it might be more harmful than helpful for us...

I would like to begin drinking it because I heard it helps get rid of plaque in one's arteries - and I sometimes wonder the if I don't have some of that. No insurance right now to check it out. I've heard that Hawthorne is also good for similar uses...
