Have any of you ever seen a psychologist and did you find it helpful? Or did you do something else to help cope?
Cheers.
Yes, I found therapy with a psychologist helpful in coming to terms with my new normal. I also needed some psych meds initially when on the high dosages of pred. It helped with sleep and reduced the extreme moods initially. Depression and anxiety are pretty normal after diagnosis of Wegs and it takes a while to come to terms with your "new normal".
