Default Vasculitis awareness... on a race car!?

    Hi Folks,

Those of you I have on FB know my hubby races. Well, every few years he does a new paint scheme. He only races 3 months of the year (summer) so usually a wrap lasts him a whole year.

His current car looks like this..

And his new "scheme" is this, this is a computer image of a "mock" car. He is giving me free reign of the hood.. Right now it's got the canadian vasculitis logo on it... Any other ideas?

Message Marta about this. She is good at designing logos and is in contact with the CanVasc group.

Yeah, her "pred rage" image would look good on there. Try to find the link to her store and look at her stuff for sale. This is very cool, Carrie!

Ha ha ha - this is funny. I am getting my "Find The Common Thread" logo on a jet car that lives in Vegas.

I just have to send the logo to the owner and this post just reminded me to do so. When I get a photo of it, I will send it your way.

A jetcar is one of those 'funny cars' that drag races down a straight line with a jet airplane engine giving it power. They're the ones that have little parachutes to slow it down. It's loud and fast but doesn't go very far (gasoline and all - he told me how much it uses in each drag race, and it was insane, but I can't remember the actual number) - sounds a lot like us on pred.... no?

Thanks to this post, I finally sent the logo to the owner, who also has an autoimmune disease and gets the idea of working together, and I'll ask him to send me a photo of the car and show you all. It's getting decalled in December, so we'll get some exposure in the US, then back to Canada for summer.

I know a guy that has a jet powered drag truck. It uses about 90 US gallons per mile run.

To be honest Eric does OK but he has never won yet LOL. Lots of 2nd and 3rd places; but he can't afford to dump the money into his little race car that some others do. Won't be until the spring that it will be done; but getting an early start planning!
