Default National News about Disease Forums

This is an article in the National Post (Canada) about the Autoimmune Expedition and the importance of online disease forums. In this case it's promoting the Arthritis Society of Canada's new webpage, Share The Pain - Home, but it certainly applies to this community as well.

When it mentions me getting my inspiration from a similar webpage, I was referring to this group. Thanks!

Great article Pete, these autoimmune and rare diseases need all the publicity they can get.

I think it must be, Alysia, because it talks about a woman who climbed Mt. Everest, who must be our Cindy! I'm not trying to answer for Peter, though, and by the way, Peter, Michelle is right.... YOU ROCK!!!

Yes. It certainly was this site and this group. I read about Cindy shortly after I was diagnosed and was struggling with my recovery. Her story made me realize that I could still take on big challenges in the future. It gave me the idea for my trip.
