On monday i went to my appointment which i was admitted to hospital so i could get the rituxan my insurance is a pain. Well while in my ent decided it was time for a throat dilation. Surgery went fine made the three hour trip home and plan was i would go home to bed i got to my porch 5 ft away for the car and i could not breathe my mother in law quickly called rescue squad (10pm) by 4 am i was finally stable and being life flighted to Cleveland where they had me in a medicine coma till friday night so its been a crazy life treating ride this week. I am off vents out of icu and in hopes to go home next week. I have now learned the lesson make sure you have someone else withyou because my life would have been lost.

Glad you made it mama...I'm sure you now realize how close you were to being severely sick, like that was not enough. Hang tough, a good WG lesson for us all.

Oh mama, I was going to say that's it's good to see you......but goodness, I am really glad that we can see you.
Things sure have a way of going terribly wrong very quickly

I hope you can get home again soon.

Wow, Mama! Thanks for sharing that.... I wasn't aware that could happen after a dilation, but it makes sense in retrospect, I guess. I'm so glad you got the help you needed ASAP and made it through! And BTW, it is great to see your avatar showing your beautiful new nose and your pretty daughter.

What a week you had. Glad your mother-n-law was there to help you and everything turned out well. In my opinion the rtx and surgery was to much at one time but what do I know. Glad you are here to tell us about it Take Care !
BTW Lima isn't to far from Youngstown we should do lunch someday !

Scary stuff mama. Was it the dilation causing the breathing issues, or like respiratory arrest from anesthetic?

The breathing they actually think was a scab from my throat which blocked my air way. They pumped three fluid iv bags from my lungs at the hime er. The home er said it was pulmonary flash edemia but cc believed scab or mucus plug blocked my airway.
