Sorry you are getting the run around. I would for sure see about getting in to see a Weg's specialist. Everyone is different, and while what I've learned is that you have wegs with a positive tissue sample, there are many other ways you can have wegs.

Don't put ths off as it sounds like you have active disease going on.

Things have gotten a wee bit worse in the last couple of days. I am in major sinus pain now. My nose, my cheeks, my front teeth ... I am quite upset. My work schedule is a bit wonky at the moment so unfortunately, I wasn't able to call UCSF today.
My pulmonologist had given me her direct line to call her while she was working in the ICU, alas ... I was also at work in the 911 center and it was too busy to call her.
I will get this handled.
I'm just suffering through tonight. I have a wash rag that I keep soaking in hot water for my face. The NyQuil Sinus meds I took didn't even make a dent in the pain.
I just came back from being out with cancer on April 29th, so I'm trying to keep a low profile about it here at work. It's hard to mask how miserable I feel but I'm trying!!

Many medical centers will now allow you to request an appointment by email or on their web site. Might work for you if you can't find time to call during the day.

I found an Aspro Clear (do you have them in over there) - Aspirin that dissolves in water.......really helped with the face and teeth pain (you can't take many with the pred though) Nothing else worked.
Also I alternated between cold packs and hot packs......sometimes the cold was a lot nicer (and numbing).
