WG doctor in Oklahoma?

Does anyone know of a WG doc in Oklahoma or Texas? I appreciate any info

Tobey is in Oklahoma and a few others on here are in Texas.

Yes, check the members' map, link at top of page, and also the member list, for people in these states. You can send them private messages, and I hope they can steer you to a good doc. Meanwhile, try to get some treatment however you can, as long as you are sure of the dx and the prescribing doc knows what to prescribe. Your family doc should be able to figure out a typical course of treatment, I would think, until you are able to see someone more experienced.

No, but if you find out I would like to know because most of my kids live in Oklahoma and all of my grandchildren. I have had some very good eye care there through the university, stuff they had never seen before. I have heard about some place in -Tulsa Oklahoma where they treat difficult cases on a live in basis and some of it can get sponsored as research if it not well known. I met a nurse from there at the air port once but I can't for the life of me find where it is or what it is called. What can I say, we just met on the plane.Let me know if you do find something

I'm from El Paso, TX and I'm being treated by two Nephrologists and an Internist. They're not WG specialist per se, but treat most WG patients in El Paso. Now, El Paso is a long haul from Ada, OK, Dallas is relatively close to you and I would think that there are doctors with WG experience in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Have you contacted the Vasculitis Foundation for possible info about WG doctors in OK or the Dallas areas?

Come to think of it, there is or used to be a WG support group in OK City. The last phone numbers I have are 405-317-3660 and 405-277-3597. Good Luck.
