Default this is Kim just signed up!

    hi
    my name is Kim

i am 55 yo in seattle wa
    just diagnosed in March.

    taking prednisone, cytoxan, oxycodone, tylenol,
wired on prednisone, need to rest more and stop cleaning the house! LOL

have supportive husband and 14 yo daughter helping me,
my mom in law is here until May also helping.

huge medical bills and no insurance, after three times in hospital
    during March (!)

am grateful they figured out my diagnosis, cos i've been sick for a long time, w/ fatigue
    and sinusitis

i'm doing my best to stay optimistic about the chances for remission and wellness.

    Kim

Hi Kim and welcome to the forum.

You can find lots of information about WG on google but you wont find all the answers that you seek.......unless you are asking the people who live with it everyday.
Yep, that is the talented, funny, wise people on this here forum........well some of them anyway.....only kidding.

I'm glad you received a diagnosis........the period between becoming sick and not knowing what is wrong with you can be a very long time. I'm sorry it was a WG diagnosis for you but. at the same time, you must be relieved to finally have a name for the reasons you were feeling so poorly.

I hope medications will see you in remission soon.
    Keep Smiling
    Michelle

    Hi Kim, and welcome.
sorry for you that you have WG. (sorry for myself and for others here...)
but good that you find this forum. it is great.

it is a home for us, weggies. it is calming to know that you can ask here everything, and be less alone with this nasty illness.

    Hi Kim.
when i registerd to the forum I wrote ambigous location "beyond the ocean". I correct it now in order not to give wrong information. it is the mediterranean. and I love the sea. It helps me breath better.
    what did you sing ?
I hope you will get your voice soon.
