Looks like she is in position 56 out 56 but not out of the race.

As of today I think she is now out of the race. She checked in at Kaltag which is 652 miles of the 998. No matter what, she's #1 in my book. What an impressive feat. She is one tough lady!

I see that she dropped out of the race too... It's incredible that she was able to take part in the Iditarod, and make it so far too! I'm sure it has been a great experience, and certainly one she'll never forget. I am so glad I got to keep up with her journey through it. So proud of how much she completed!

vdub asked me to post this. As you can see Cindy had to scratch. I hope she is alright and not flaring too badly.

    You are AWESOME Cindy

I hope you don't feel too disappointed about not finishing.
What an amazing feat to even get as far as you did.
    - rest up now, wrap yourself in cotton wool and plan for your next adventure (the moon and back)

You should be so proud of yourself - as we are proud of you

........ I look forward to another book

Just look how far she made it. It is an incredible feat and I hope her disappointment will soon be overshadowed by pride and satisfaction in what she actually did. If she tries again next year, more power to her!
