Default To all of your Inner Ninjas

One thing I know about this group of people on this forum is that this songs describes all of us.

    My new war cry.

This is actually the feeling I was going for with my Weggie Girl shirt all that time ago (ninja girl in the back)
Weggie on the inside and out - female tshirts at Zazzle.ca

Keep on fighting the righteous fight ninjas.

Marta, did you design the logos on the Weggie products in the Weggie store linked on your posts? If so, good job, you are talented! And thank you for putting that all together!

That darn girl designed the logos, selected all the products, wrote a book, held and processed a survey and I'm sure a lot lot more.

Don't know how Marta finds the time to have WG.

    Shes a star

I still wear my t-shirt with pride (XXL of course)

Whoa you guys... I haven't browsed for a while and I get on and stumble onto this. You are all way too kind. I have found my coping mechanism and it's to keep my mind going on things at all times, crazy - yes, effective in keeping me going - yes. I've actually come to my senses and pulled back from my slightly over ambitious project for next March 1. I've decided not to do the conference this year but have a whole year to plan it for next year. Dr. Noel Rose who wrote the article that has inspired me to keep plugging away at an achievable goal that would benefit all of us, not just Weggies, (here's a link to the article that got this brain going: :: American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association, Inc :: ) was ready to come up and be our keynote speaker, but deadline is looming fast and I have just found out that I'm going on a trip to China, of all places, for 12 days in January.
Life is busy, and that slight bit of paranoia, the Weggie one, is always buzzing in the back of my mind. But I keep it at bay by keeping my brain busy. I think of you often and imagine how you could start a PJ revolution in your neck of the woods and we can take the world by total storm. It would be cool and wouldn't require lots of energy.

    As for the song:

Here's the full version of the song:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAlRCjY5pvk

and if you're not into hip hop and don't want to listen, here are the lyrics, you'll find that many lines are applicable...

Ninja? You're a ninja? Get out of here, you're a ninja! Yes, I am a ninja.

I read the rules before I broke 'em
I broke the chains before they choked me out
    Now I pay close attention
    Really learn the code
I learned to read the map before I hit the road

Hey yo, I know you never heard this before
But I'd rather lose a fight than miss the war
And I ain't wishing competition or fishin' for it
I'm just living in the system, conditions are poor
I've been lost in the rhythm and misinformed
Too many late nights hittin' the liquor store
Too many bad decisions, half assed attempts
No sweat, no fear, no blood, no tears
I go hard and I ain't makin' up no excuse
I'm overdo, I don't do what I'm supposed to do
Cause you can think about it man, we're supposed to lose
It ain't all picture perfect, ocean views
No, I was a first class rookie,
Takin' out bullies in my all black hoodie
Man of mystery, you know the history
Get it or forget it, cause poof, I'm outta here

I read the rules before I broke 'em
I broke the chains before they choked me out
    Now I pay close attention
    Really learn the code
I learned to read the map before I hit the road

    Nobody's gonna see me comin'
    Nobody's gonna hear a sound
No matter how hard they tryin'
No stoppin' me since I've found
    My inner ninja [x4]

Hey yo, I've been high and I've been real low
I've been beaten and broken but I healed though

So many ups and downs, roughed up & clowned
We all got problems, but we deal though

I'm tryin' to do better now, find my inner peace
Learn my art form, and find my energy

When my backs on the wall, I don't freeze up
Nah, I find my inner strength and I re-up

Here we go, I know I've never been the smartest or wisest
But I realize what it takes
Never dwell in the dark cause the sun always rises
But gotta make it to the next day

It's a feeling that you get in your lungs when you run
Like you're runnin' outta air and your breath won't come
And you (uh) wheezin', gotta keep it movin'
Find that extra (uhn) and push your way through it

I've had bad habits but I dropped em
I've had opponents but I knocked them out
    I climbed the highest mountains
    Swum the coldest seas
There ain't a thing I've faced thats been too much for me

    Nobody's gonna see me comin'
    Nobody's gonna hear a sound
No matter how hard they tryin'
    Nobody's gonna bring me down

    Nobody's gonna see me comin'
    Nobody's gonna hear a sound
No matter how hard they tryin'
No stoppin' me since I've found
    My inner ninja [x4]

I've had bad habits but I dropped em
I've had opponents but I knocked them out
    I climbed the highest mountains
    Swum the coldest seas
There ain't a thing I've faced thats been too much for me

I started to highlight the verses that I feel apply to some or most of us and then realized I was bolding the whole thing.
Take care friends. And if you haven't yet, may you find your inner ninja.
